compliments

One spends time shopppng for nice clothes,trying them on,spending pounds on it.
One spends time and money doing their hair,cutting colouring.
One spends time getting ready before they step out of the door.
One kills brain cells thinking how they look,hw their shoes,shirts,scarfs,earrings,turbans match each other.

Why?? Just to look nice to others.to be accepted by others,to increase self esteem.
And imagine going home at the end of the day not getting a single o even a half compliment!

SERIOUSLY IT SUCKS!

Well i complimented a friend today,(act 2)and he was glad to hear it.He smiled.(at least i imagined) well m sure he was glad cos he made the compliment print screen hi dp =_=

Well and there comes this another chap,trying to tease me ?

Okaaayyy dude,so here is the deal.I love complimenting people.Cos i knw it makes them smile.I never knew making someone smile was wrong?hmmm.like seriously dont everyone deserve compliments.a person having a bad day would smile being complimented.A person who had dropped coffee on his shirt in d morning,and feels a bit off to be having changing attire for the day will feel much relieved. So wats wrong in complimenting??

And why cant giving someone a compliment be just that ? Well just saying ~

uphill :)

Today while feeling a lil down i mentioned uphill!
Well uphill is one of the words that defines a kttian (kolej teknologi timur)

In short uphill is a hill sumwer very near ktt,in d housing areas.The thing bout this hill is that the road towards it is very very steep and long way up ,and along the way all u see is stones and sand with dry grass of course.

Once ur up on the hill, there will be a water tank nearby,a school and also a tnb generator.From the hill u will enjoy the view of the whole bandar baru salak tinggi.
In the nearer view,there is this a mosque,u cn see a pasar malam and a playgorund.
If u see across,u can actually see the view of planes taking off and landing at KLIA. Cool init :)

Its a place wer every kttian has been to.Uphill has listened to every laugh and every cry of  a student.Be it a stressful day,or a happy day.Uphill was d place. Few of my best moments uphill includes the 1st tym we all went up there,it was the 1st junior evening sport event.And then there were times wer too much pressure pressed me down and the beautiful sunset uphill was d solution.and even times wen my seniours hooked me up with a guy uphill.And the last tym we went uphill after leaving college were to have cold milk on a chilly nyt.

I will never forget that rock i used to sit on and i called it mine.The same rock wer i wrote my name.Those chats we had with our closest friends,things never could be told in a normal conversation.The scary story times.
And  all that moments spent just looking out for the simplest smallest yet the most wonderful things in life that gave a meaning to be in KTT :)

Im half chinese :)

 HOW??
 Well if ur tinking one of my parent is a chinese,nope,my grandparents?nope.my great grandparents?nope
Infact none of my ancestors are chinese ! SO how can i be half chinese.pfftttt

I am not Biologically chinese but i can be better than a born chinese ok.
SO explaination to it : Im GEOGRAPHICALLY chinese and so I AM HALF CHINESE

I was born,brought up,and am settling in a chinese village wer the population of non chinese is like ermm 4:1000 (btw all 4 families are punjabis ) hihi..

Why am i half chinese,well i live my life in all kind of chinese cultures and habits.

1.Chinese New Year
 name it i knw it,wel the ting is in my place they actually start preparing for it a month earlier.Like all this firecrackers and my neighbours selling firecrackers (illegally of course,shhh) hahaha and i knw wen wat how and everyting they do on a chinese new year.When i was way younger i used to have this neighbour aunties making love letters,and i would be watching them frm the start till the end wiith a muka sepuluh sen! Guess wat at the end of the day i wud get a tin of them ! muahhahaahaha.On the day we act wear red clothes too,and play firecrackers and we dont sweep the floor.we wait for the moon to appear a nyt before cny,difference is we dont pray but we watch them! u act dint knw the moon part did u !! muahahahaha

2.lantern Festivals
For 19 years i have litten candles around my house and hung lanterns on the trees! yes 19 years (i missed last year) wen i was younger i used to wait eagerly for the mooncake festival for the say waaaaattt mooncakes and lanternnsss! we used to gather with all d kids of d same age and go around walking with lanterns hung on long sticks..and i remember having all those coloured lanterns according to the zodiac years.

3.Food
Majority food in my house is cooked chinese style like really,we love soupy stuff and all cookings must have oyster sauce and sesame oil!! hahaha and all tym fav wat tan hor :) i use chopsticks like a pro since i was like 5!! 

4.language
Well as for me i only speak one dialect wich is hakka,but if u hear my mum speaking chinese (friggin all dialects) u wud never believe its a non chinese *heee*

5.Hungry Ghost festival
Every year during this hungry ghost festivals the people of my village has this one week long fun mela kinda tingy..in d afternoons they have this vegetarian fried meehon that i love all tym and also other vege chinese cookings..awesome pawesome man..and few starting nyts they have the chinese opera..YES THEY DO!! and some mini shows and all! seriously its suppa cool! 

6.Weddings
One day earlier they have this party like hw punjabis have sangeet but well there is nothing much in it except for food and drinks..they call it yimchiu :) hihi in hakka la..well the next morning the whole chinese weddings starts with the groom goin to the brides house.and before he could enter he is terribly bullied by the brides friends..and the the popo yim cha,thing (that wen they give the tea to the family members ) haha and they have a feast after the gals leaves the house! hahaha and the part i love the most is the part before the wedding when they invite u to the wedding with 2 pieces of wedding cookies *ngee*

Ermmm well this post is kinda getting lengthy..maybe all the above doesnt really prove to u im half chinese yet...well jus wait up.more might come :)

#fact no1 :Being a student is not so cool and being a student in jakarta is even more less cool!
#fact no2 : Sometimes being with family and choosing ur family over some stupid seminar is gona cost u

#fact no 3: Students make mistakes of bunking the right classes.
#fact no 4: Some stupid ridiculious institutes makes irelevant  decisions of making a total out of topic seminars compulsory even if it is off schedule and falls on days off(at least initially)
#fact no 5: Referring to the above situations,announces it on d day before.
#fact no 6: And for those who made a mistake of not attending the seminars,not allowed to sit for certain exams
#fact no 7: Later hears no explainations,lets decisions made by one single person in charge while all other authorities have a zero clue on d rules
#fact no 8: Maybe some of us dont study regularly or nerd around,but yet studies are the most important priority after our families.
#fact no 9: Students in most places are not given much choices, just living puppets of universities and their systems
#fact no 10 : Many might not understand why but the most number of suicides happens among students.
